Monday

Hobbystreak day 429 (04 March 2024).

Did some assembling of Legion Imperialis tanks because I fancied a bit of tank action. Waiting for some varnishes to arrive as well as the old ones hadn’t aged well. I don’t use them often.

Painted a bit more on the sniper Scout.

Tuesday

Hobbystreak day 430 (05 March 2024).

Varnishes arrived and so the Scout marine got a gloss coat on the shoulder pad and then a decal. I went for a smaller Dark Angels insignia because I think they look better on the scouts rather than filling the whole pad. Proper marines get the full on big ones of course, or moulded ones if possible.

I should use decals more often as they do make models feel a bit more complete. Just writing that made me give an evil glare at the USS Reliant kit sitting waiting for some paints to arrive as it’s nearly 100% covered in decals to get the hull plating patterns.

Wednesday

Hobbystreak day 431 (06 March 2024).

Felt like assembling some marines today so put together the special characters from Leviathan.

Thursday

Hobbystreak day 432 (07 March 2024).

I will not get distracted. Started painting the Terminator Captain from Leviathan.

Friday

Hobbystreak day 433 (08 March 2024).

Bone armour is the price you pay for collecting Dark Angels and I’ve managed to never get around to painting any. It’s actually not that hard…

Saturday

Hobbystreak day 434 (09 March 2024).

I was so happy the other week that I got the Malifaux models for Feburary and painted them that week. They usually come at the end of the month. Not this month, 10 new models arrived today. So I built them and they’re now high up on the priority for painting because if I can keep up with Ashes of Malifaux then I’ll be happy.

Nearly finished the Terminator Captain. Not sure what’s come over me.
