Monday

Hobbystreak day 471 (Monday 15 April 2024).

Ticked off another of the Journalists and that means it’s just Nellie Cochrane to go. So of course I did some work on the three Hex Bow .

Tuesday

Hobbystreak day 472 (Tuesday 16 April 2024).

Finished off Nellie and did some more on the Hex Bows. This means I need new models soon so I grabbed the first bag out of the box o’ backlog. Kirai Core Box came up so that’s another master to cross off the list. Might as well grab her title version as well from that Other Side box, as well as the second copy of her Totem that came in it. That makes 8 models. Then, a few hours later, I’m up to a pile of 16 minis ready to prime and that’s only doing the unique sculpts. Well that should keep me busy for a month or six. zoom

Wednesday

Hobbystreak day 473 (Wednesday 17 April 2024).

All I did today was glue magnets onto Urami models.

Thursday

Hobbystreak day 474 (Thursday 18 April 2024).

New package turned up with something I ordered ages ago but since Malifaux stock is so hit and miss these days it’s been a while. Two boxes, Samantha Thrace and Binh Ngugen, who are Other Side characters that count as alts of Dashel Barker and Datsue Ba . Yes, by chance another Urami model arrived today. Onto the pile it goes, but since Barker is a master now I need another core box… I can’t own incomplete crews you know.

Friday

Hobbystreak day 475 (Friday 19 April 2024).

I’m making next to no progress this week because I’m so busy, which is annoying but at least I have a large number of minis primed and ready to go now. I even primed some more today so that the stack is now totally unmanageable.

Saturday

Hobbystreak day 476 (Saturday 20 April 2024).

I think I just need to accept I’m writing this week of for actual progress. Sprayed the rest of my assembled minis.

Sunday

Hobbystreak day 477 (Sunday 21 April 2024).

Did some more on the hex bows. Painted the arrow shafts a light wood colour and their bows are now metalic but don’t know if I want to pick out some darker wood in between all the metal details in them. That seems a lot of work for what they are.
