Monday

Hobbystreak day 184.

Well last week was rather lacking in progress, which is a recurring theme. Undercoated more golden armour from Stormbringer.

Tuesday

Hobbystream day 185.

I’m calling three of the Orks done for now, just got the ballista thing to finish then I’m done with June’s stormbringer. That leaves 5 new Orks to undercoat, a bunch of scenery and a massive dragon for this months Stormbringer.

I’ve been thinking about these Orruks (to give them their proper name) and why they keep slowing me down. I should love these models. But I don’t. They’re just a little… off for me. When do we run out of models for them for the partwork? They’re not a massive range.

Called the Ballista done as well so I’m back up to date with Stormbringer.

After that I thought I was doing so well that I painted Harrison Frodsham and Harris J-5 as well.

Wednesday

Hobbystreak day 186.

Got a good start on the next three Stormcast models and undercoated the next Orruks.

Thursday

Hobbystreak day 187.

Nearly finished putting all the base colours on the stormcast, then undercoated 5 more Termagants then gave them a quick all over wash of diluted Skeleton Hoard contrast paint.

Friday

Hobbystreak day 188.

Got distracted and printed out a piece of Tyranid scenery from the Eons of Battle patreon this month to see what it looks like with layer lines on an FDM printer.

Saturday

Hobbystreak day 189.

Washed the tentacles on the Tyranid scenery with skeleton hoard and it showed up the layer lines as expected but not TOO badly. Then did some more details on the stormcast.

Sunday

Hobbystreak day 190.

Remembered the stormcast need bases printed so did that and superglued them on and touched them up a bit. Bases just need painting and the cloaks need a bit of purple added in.
