Monday

Hobbystreak day 79.

It’s week 12 and I have 12 models being painted at once. Hopefully I can get them off the desk as soon as possible as I hate batch painting, but it makes sense to do it when I have a bunch of identical models. It’s making me want to paint some Bayou models for Malifaux next, but I haven’t decided what a nice green for them is yet. These Orruks have very bright skin as I want them to stand out on the tabletop but I want something that feels a lot more natural for Malifaux as there are fewer models and I want to be able to vary skin tone a bit more.

Tuesday

Hobbystream day 80.

So much brown clothing on these Orks and the paint takes two coats. Note to self: pick stronger paints for batch painting.

Wednesday

Hobbystreak day 81.

Needed a bit of a change so did some more on the Hemotope Reactor I started a few weeks back. I could call it finished now but I’m picking out some wires and parts in order to give it a bit more of a pop.

Thursday

Hobbystreak day 82.

Work gets busy around now so not as much painting as I’d like, but I did do a bit on the grot.

Friday

Hobbystreak day 83.

Need to make some progress today or I’ll be really bogged down.

Saturday

Hobbystreak day 84.

GW models are too fiddly.Getting there though.

Sunday

Hobbystreak day 85.

A week with no painted models. NEXT week I’ll finish these damn simple orks.
