Monday

Hobbystreak day 65.

New week, new models. Assembled the rest of the Living Soulstones box, but it’s too damp out to undercoat them.

Tuesday

Hobbystreak day 66. Undercoated all the living soulstones box models in black, and did a bit more work on the 75mm Sonnia Criid Iconic

Wednesday

Hobbystreak day 67.

Not much today, but I did paint Lohith grey.

Thursday

Hobbystreak day 68.

Painted the Soulstone Gamin grey and then gave them and Lohith a coat of Ratling Grime. I’m going to drybrush them up through the greys and hopefully that’ll be a nice look for them.

Friday

Hobbystreak day 69.

More site development ate a chunk of my painting time, but Lohith and all three of the Soulstone Gamin are now basically done. That means I have the entire Witness crew pained and I can start to think about the next crew to tackle.

Saturday

Hobbystreak day 70.

I need to decide on what to paint next, and luckily a trip to the local shop presented me with a copy of the 1st issue of the new Stormbringer partwork. £2.99 for 3 minis is always a good deal, especially when you quite like the way the newer Orks look like in Age of Sigmar. So it’s a week of Games Workshop coming up I think.

I started with the Knight-Arcanum as it’s gold and cloth and not actually horrific detail wise for a GW mini. Retributor Armour is a GW paint that’s actually a nice deep gold but I never find a use for it outside of GW minis so I slapped that over the armour. It’s more on the red side of gold.

I decided to break out Royal Purple, from the Pro Acryl Vince Venturella range. It’s just the colour you would hope for and perfect for robes that are worn by people who think that gold is a discrete colour to wear for armour.

Damn, I need an AoS part of the site now don’t I?

Hobbystreak Day 71.

Bit more on Knight-Arcanum and a lot of fiddling with the site.
