Monday

Hobbystreak day 44.

Finished all the base coats on the Soniias finally. Slow going because of other distractions, but doing a bit a day has paid off so far.

Tuesday

Hobbystreak day 45.

No more Malifaux. Especially no more Iconic sculpts. In unrelated news The Titania one turned up today, athough I’m pretty sure it’s a model of Poison Ivy with wings.

I might just have to accept I’m going to be a bit completionist here. At least with the crews I like the master of. That’s the thing really. You buy a master, then want the alternative title for them. Which gives you the alt for another master, and so then you feel like buying that one too. Next thing you know you’ve got a problem.

I should graph the way that they’re all linked. That might be fascinating to see if you use the rule of “if I have one model of a keyword I need to collect all of that keyword” and with the mix of keywords in some boxes if you get a sizable percentage of the range included from each of the core boxes. Ignoring versatile and the like of course.

Wednesday

Hobbystreak day 46.

Finished off the highlighting on Sonnia Criid(s). Also undercoated Samuel Hopkins from their crew and put down a few base colours on him.

Thursday

Hobbystreak day 47.

Busy day so not much painting. Did some work on the bases for the three Criids and finished them off.

I really do prefer the original model for her.

The rest of the Witness boxes should turn up tomorrow after a really long wait for something to be in stock. Next week might be finishing off that crew.

Friday

Hobbystreak day 48.

Work on Samael Hopkins today. Managed to do most of him. I’m pretty sure that painting more than one model at a time slows me down massively.

There was a delivery of more Malifaux models today. No you have a problem. That means I have all the witness models now so I think that’s a good goal. Finish a crew!

Saturday

Hobbystreak day 49.

Finished off Hopkins. I’m a lot faster when I’m only working on one model at a time.

Sunday

Hobbystreak Day 50.

Three witchlink stalkers to go from the Criid core book so undercoated them and got started.
