Monday

Hobbystreak day 51.

Witchling Stalkers are nice fast models to paint. Used so contrast paint on the cloth. Ended the day with no undercoat showing except for the base, which is always a nice stage of painting.

A nice quick model for after those will be Miya Murakami.

Tuesday

Hobbystreak day 52.

What I presume is the penultimate delivery for the Imperium partwork arrived today. Built the Haemotrope Reactor straight away because it’s a nice fast thing to paint. I already have a painted one so I built this a bit differently, then it’s a quick undercoat in dark brown then some rusting, adding metals, green and some details then done.

The other three issues are the Marine ATV thing that should be quick too but the Necron Command Barge is nearly all details so could take forever.

Next month is Guilleman. That’s a LOT of gold trim…

Wednesday

Hobbystreak day 53.

Witchlings are done bar the bases. Murakami undercoated ready to be painted tomorrow, as is the haemotrope reactor.

Thursday

Hobbystreak day 54.

Finished the Witchlings.

Trying out the two pro acryl paint packs they just launched that are a team up with YouTubers. Used Dark Jade on Murakami’s robe and that’s a very nice colour.

Finished Murakami already because I got into a bit of a flow. Going to need to build more models tomorrow now.

Friday

Hobbystreak day 55.

Assembled and started painting Leger De Main, the next of the Witness crew.

Saturday

Hobbystreak day 56.

Did all the solid colours on Leger De Main. Painted the inside of the cloak with Pro Acryl Dark Magenta, which has the coverage of slightly muddy water and goes on splotchy. Never let Youtubers design your paints, even though I bet it was just Ninjon saying “um, you don’t have a dark magenta” in this case.
